Body measurements

We highly recommend that you have a formal wear professional perform this measurement as it can be a bit tricky. B waist measure the waist where the body bends. Exhale before this measurement. It should sit at the base of the neck above the collar bone. Please stand straight against a wall mark where your collarbones are and then measure from the marking down to the floor. This is usually where the belly button is.

To measure your neck pull the tape around the middle coming from the back to the front. Measurement has to be taken tightly around the waist with the tape straight. To measure your bust bring the tape around your back and around to the front. You can put an elastic band around the waist to mark the correct placement. C hip measure the hips at the fullest part usually around the seat. Start by the neck at the highest point of the shoulder then measure down over the chest through the crotch and continue up the back to the starting point.

If you are ordering a short dress then please measure from your collarbones to the end of the dress hemline. Pull it around the apex or fullest point of your bust. You will need to take the measurement with the exact shoes you will be wearing. For the waist you would need to take the circumference of the narrowest area around the waist. Most dresses come with a standard length measurement but some designers offer a custom hollow to hem. Your hollow to hem measurement is determined by measuring from the center of your collarbone hollow to the bottom hem of your dress.
