For example if your bust measures 37 inches and your band size not the exact measurement but the band size you found above is 34 the difference will be 3. Your band size is however close to 38 as well. The bust size is the loose circumference measured around the chest over the fullest part of the breasts while standing straight with arms to the side and wearing a properly fitted bra.

The bra size also known as brassiere measurement or bust size is the measure which indicates the size characteristics of a brabra size is usually expressed as consisting of two measurements with a number of systems in use around the world the band length often numerical and cup size often alphabetical. Match the number to this bra size chart to determine your cup size. Lets say your bust measurement is 51 inches and your band size is 46 inches. Use the following to convert the bra sizes betweem different locations. When you go up or down a band size your cup size volume will change too. If you want to keep the same cup size but need another band size.

The band or frame size is the firm circumference fitted not tightly measured directly underneath the breasts. A bra size is made up of a number and a letter. 51 465 so using the chart below you are a dd cup. The number refers to the size of the ribcage and the letter to the size of the breasts.
